Tom Clancy Books
Who is your one and only absolute favorite author? Please don't tell me Daniel Steele! If you do, I just might vomit all over the keyboard. I was thinking more along the lines of real writers. You know, ones with creativity, originality and a true gift for story telling. Novels with Fabio on the cover don't count. It seems like a lot of folks enjoy Tom Clancy books. These are always becoming more and more popular. Notice how many of them they turn into films. Furthermore, the films have actually been quite good. Then again, this could be the casting. That makes a world of difference. Well, regardless of who your favorite author is, you may enjoy a Tom Clancy novel nonetheless.
Ever since I can remember, my mother has been reading Stephen King books. She is a certified Stephen King nut! When I was a child I didn't notice as much, but there were always Stephen King novels lying around. One day in high school, I decided to pick one up and read it. It was called "Cycle of the Werewolf." This short book was developed into the film "Silver Bullet." I suppose most people recall this one. It had Corey Haim in a motorcycle wheelchair. That's a bit hard to forget. I probably watched that flick six times. It's a classic. Anyway, the book was good and more graphic than the film. This is so typical. Whether it be Tom Clancy books or Stephen king novels, you can bet that the book will give much more detail than the film. The mental image you create in your mind while reading a book is virtually incomparable to anything on the big screen. You make it as scary as you want. There is mystery involved. With a film, all is revealed in the picture. This takes away from the intensity.
Maybe you're looking for a great book to get into. Hop online and see all the Tom Clancy books for sale on Amazon.com. Take advantage of this website for any reading needs you may have. You should also give Stephen King a shot. He has definitely proven his status in the horror genre. These days I think he's not even writing any longer. If I remember correctly, my mother said she read his last novel not long ago.
