I guess I am just old-fashioned, but I have yet to try to read books online. There is something about holding a book in your hand and curling up in a ball in a comfortable warm spot to read your favorite story. The world is changing however, and many people do not want to be bothered with going to bookstore. Though I think this is very sad, I can understand why this may be happening. Many people are looking for convenience because they find that they are too busy for their own good.

I am a very busy person, but this is only because I am working full time from home and my daughter has yet to start school. I know next year when she begins going to class I won’t be as busy as I am right now. I don’t care how busy I become though, as I will never read books online, at least not in this point in my life. My busyness is of my own doing, and this is the same for almost anyone else. If someone claims that they do not have time to read a book, they are just not trying hard enough to find a spare moments they need. However, they choose to read books online, that’s okay with me. At least they are still reading.

More and more publishers are offering their material online for those who like to read books online. They are trying to change with the times, and any successful business will tell you this is exactly what you want to do. Perhaps it is because I work on my computer all day long, but the idea of staring at a computer screen to read books online is not appealing to me. There are many days when I have a headache just from doing my work, and the last thing I want to do is look at my computer screen any longer than I need to.

There is one thing that I can say is a huge positive about those who read books online. You do not have to be a published author to find people to read your work. It used to be that you had to find someone willing to publish your book in order for it to be available to the masses. Now this so many people like to read books online, your chances of the average person finding your work are much higher. If you have something to say, and you have a way to publish your book online, there is no harm in doing so. If you get a big enough audience, you may find that a traditional book publisher will want to work with you.
