Where To Find Book Of The Dead
We are all so obsessed with death. Have you ever wondered why this may be? Heck, I can tell you why. We're curious what happens afterward. We want to know if there's really a light to walk toward and whether or not God's waiting to take us in. This is totally understandable. It's only natural to wonder. When it comes down to it, we don't have any proof of an afterlife. It could just be death and dirt piled on a casket. As morbid and dismal as that sounds, it could be our reality. It all comes down to faith. What do you wish to believe? On the other hand, then there were the ancient Egyptians. They seemed to be pretty certain of their creed when they created the book of the dead.
We can learn a great deal from the ancient Egyptians. Like how to keep our teeth shiny for example. Okay, now I'm just poking fun. But what about the famous book of the dead? Have you ever taken the time to examine or read this text? I flipped through it a bit back in college, simply because a professor had it in his office. There was nothing else to do at the time while I was waiting for him to return. The book of the dead is no doubt an interesting book with a lot of cool pictures, but I was never too intrigued by the ancient Egyptians. This book goes into detail regarding their religious beliefs and the afterlife. Even deities are elaborated on. I think it's perfect for someone who harbors a definite curiosity about the ancient Egyptians and their unique ways.
What about our religions? We have so many these days. Can you even learn about half of them? I'm speaking of the ones which are prominent in the USA. Maybe the book of the dead is last on the line of your to-read/investigate list. It should be if you expect to learn about the mainstream religions over here. Then again, you can never really acquire too much knowledge. Whether it be on Muslims, Christians, Egyptians, or Catholics, a taste of each can really get you on a path to better understanding what creeds and deities are all about. Maybe you'll even discover one that suits you.
