5 Things You Must Know About Best Seller Books
If you have ever been motivated to pursue a career as an artist, you know the difficulties involved. Although you want to succeed, the most important thing is to always keep it real. For a long time, it was difficult for me to write accessible books. I was so concerned with self-expression that I gave no thought to commercial concerns. In other words, I wrote deep books that no one wanted to read.
This all changed when I started looking at best seller books. I had always scoffed at the New York Times best seller books list. For me, popularity was unimportant. Indeed, most geniuses were destined to become successful only after their deaths. But honestly, I simply got tired of being poor and broke. I decided that if I could write a best seller book or two, I could figure out what people were reading, and how to get my more lofty literature published. I did learn how to succeed and how to make it is a commercial success. I will never regret looking at those bestseller books.
The first best-selling book I read was a potboiler. It was actually rather predictable, but it did have some compelling aspects to it. It dealt with a lot of modern themes, and reading it made me realize how important this was to authorial success. The best seller book death with terrorism, the war on drugs, and radical religious fundamentalists bent on destroying America. From the moment I started reading, I was hooked on bestseller books. And from my addiction to best seller books sprang success in writing my own!
Even when I was working on my new novel, I would still take time to read all the best seller books that I could get my hands on. I would order bestsellers from Amazon every chance I got. I would read fiction, mystery, suspense – anything that sold. Soon, I understood all of these genres and began to create best seller books of my own.
The best thing about my best seller books career is that I have not had to give up on my other artistic aspirations. I still get to write books that indulge my passion for plot, character development, and three-dimensional writing. Now, however, instead of working at a job as a waiter at a restaurant, I get to write best seller books for my day job. I do not consider them real writing, but they do help me to stay grounded in the real world. They make me understand what most readers want to read. That is important for a writer to know!
